Florida Wildlife Commission officers Rick Sloan, left, and Loren Lowers, right, hold a nuisance alligator as trapper Bob Cowles, center, moves in to secure its mouth shut. They worked hard to remove the 10-foot 11-inch long alligator from a pond of the sixth hole of the Venice, Florida, public golf course. Earlier in the day the one-eyed alligator bit a golfer from Tennessee. According to Officer Rick Sloan of the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the large one-eyed alligator would be destroyed because a human was bitten. . .CONTACT Carla Hotvedt at SILVER IMAGE® Photo Agency and Weddings 352.373-5771 or carla@silverimagephotoagency.com.... ......
