BarracudaAttacksFloridaGirl009SILVERIMAGEphotoagency.JPG

The barracuda that bit Koral Wira, who was attacked in her father's fishing boat when the fish jumped out of the water and clamped down on her elbow. Koral was fishing with her family in the Gulf of Mexico near Venice, Florida, when attacked by the 45-inch-long fish. She required 51 stitches to close up her wounds. After the attack, the barracuda was still flopping around inside the boat. Her father, Rob Parker, killed the fish with a filet knife. Barracuda have large mouths containing two sets of razor-sharp teeth, making them efficient predators in the water and dangerous to humans. .CONTACT Carla Hotvedt at SILVER IMAGE® Photo Agency and Weddings 352.373-5771 or carla@silverimagephotoagency.com....
