Alligator trapper Bob Cowles (right to left starting with man in hat) works with Officer Loren Lowers of the Fish and Wildlife Commission and Sgt. Gary Kraayenbrink of the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office to capture a 10-foot 11-inch long alligator from a pond of the sixth hole of the Venice public golf course. Earlier in the day the one-eyed alligator bit a golfer from Tennessee. According to Officer Rick Sloan of the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the large one-eyed alligator would be destroyed because a human was bitten. . .CONTACT Carla Hotvedt at SILVER IMAGE® Photo Agency and Weddings 352.373-5771 or carla@silverimagephotoagency.com.......
